XTREME LAZER - Mobile Generation Lazer Tag
GAME TIPS FOR NEW AND SOLO PLAYERS

1 - Learn how the sights/scope work. Practice aiming using the green-dot scope or iron sights. This pays off big right away. Also remember that you are tagging the SENSOR DOME, not the player. This helps improve chances of scoring a tag at close range, and reduces frustration at long range when you can see the opponent but can't tag his sensor because it is hidden behind something.

2 - Learn the sounds of the game. Especially the out-of-ammo sound (which tells you that you need to reload) and the ejected sound (which means you've accidentally left the power core out and need to reinsert it).

3 - Choose the appropriate mode. The Shot Blast attachment works best for at-close-range shots and tagging multiple players at once. The Pistol mode is for longer ranges especially when the opponent doesn't know where you are shooting from.

4 - Use your shields. New players tend to forget this and take a lot more damage than they have to when an opponent finds them unexpectedly -- just raise shields and backtrack to a safe place, then you can control the engagement better by choosing how when and where to meet your opponent. Use your shield wisely, though since you do have a limited amount of shields each game.

5 - "Shoot and Scoot" -- if your opponent knows where you are, pop off a couple quick tags at him and then duck around a corner and scoot away -- he will probably first dive for cover and then try to chase you, at which time you can land a couple more unanswered tags as he comes around the corner after you. Do this a few times in a game and you are almost certain to win!

GAME TIPS FOR TEAMS

1 - Work together as a team -- you are much more effective when coordinating your actions against the opposing team than you would be as just a bunch of single players each doing their own thing.

2 - Communicate silently using hand signals. Shouting, "Go around the back of the shed!" gives away your position and tells the opponent what to look out for. Instead, just point to your teammate while making eye contact, then point to the shed and make a "go around" motion to show him what he needs to do.

3 - Don't bunch together -- it makes it easy for an opponent to land tags on all of you at once. Try to stay about 20 feet apart from one another.

4 - Try to get your opponent in crossfire. If tags are coming at him from two different directions, he can't hide from both of them at once. A good way to set this up is to raise shields and PRETEND to engage the opponent in order to draw his attention, but actually be moving into a position to get the opponent into a cross-fire while a hidden team-mate of yours lands tags on the opponent. The opponent will THINK it is you doing the tagging and won't realize he's being set up into a crossfire situation. He will probably be so focused on you he never notices your teammate.

5 - "Bait the Trap" -- raise shields and PRETEND to engage an opponent and then run away, drawing the opponent after you into an area that your hidden team-mate has covered. Your teammate needs to hold fire just long enough for the opponent to be caught completely out in the open with no way to hide from both of you at once. Once he's trying to take cover against your teammate, you lower shields and engage him from a crossfire position.
